Meet the Owner
Meet the Owner
Tonya D. Smith‐Cauthen is the Personal and Business Financial Consultant of Money Matters II, LLC. Prior to forming the company, Tonya spent more than 20 years in various business environments, which includes the time she served in the United States Army. Tonya is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, the Maryland Society of Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals, and the National Association of Notary Publics.
Tonya is also a licensed tax professional with more than 30 years of tax experience, with certifications in corporate tax, military tax, clergy tax, multi-state tax.
She has worked in the corporate and non‐profit sectors as an accountant. She has also incorporated and developed a number of small businesses some of which include minority and women-owned businesses which are in operation today. Tonya’s passion is to see individuals and businesses thrive financially and make wise financial decisions.
Tonya is a Personal and Business Financial Manager who helps clients to identify roadblocks to their personal and business financial success. She has previously held her workshop “Is Your House In Order?” which helps individuals successfully identify problems in the area of personal finance and develop tools to make the necessary changes in their budget and spending patterns.
